The movie is very illogical and thinks the audience is stupid. There are some good moments with the boy from Mars and he acts well. But overall, it is an immature movie. Had such high expectations.

good premise, poor execution. not enough character development to care about these characters and all of them were pretty unlikable.

This was an interesting film at the beginning but once Gardner got to Earth and escaped to look for his father, the plot and the action became too implausible. It turned into a "cheesy" Hollywood film. It was cute and silly but not realistic.
