Fun movie! I thought Chris Pratt did a good job.

The production quality is the winner here. The story has more holes than swiss cheese, performances are a bit weak, continuity errors, and the tone felt off at times. It almost felt like some chimera of Edge of Tomorrow, War of the Worlds, and AVP, but not as if by accident. It was more like somebody that lacked any originality just cut and stitched random bits together hoping nobody would notice. The only redeeming quality was the production and effects. It was entertaining as long as you weren't trying to make sense of anything.

Many times the background sound, bombs exploding, guns firing made it difficult to hear and understand the dialogue. I felt there needed to be more character development of Chris Pratts father.

The acting in this movie was on point,a great cast that fit along very well.The movie started out a little slow but started to pick up about 35 minutes in.Once the action starts it a roller coaster ride.
