Excellent story on how we deal with grief individually without showing what caused it.

Land was a very touching movie about the sad loss of loved ones and how people cope with the emptiness. The lead roles both did a wonderful job and their on-screen connection was palpable. It was a good movie, although a bit slow at times, but I definitely enjoyed watching it and recommend it. Thanks for the opportunity to screen it Focus Features!

I found it so moving. Robin Wright wrenches your heart out of your chest and squeezes again and again, and it's almost cathartic to cry. Her performance was note-perfect, just the right amount of pathos. Demian Bichir was the perfect foil, a cross between lover, father, mentor, and god. It didn't linger on blood or hunting, but made that just a fact of her existence, there was no moral dilemma. I was captivated throughout. What a debut directing feat! Good for her. Loved it. Will be recommending and posting on IMDb, thank you for letting me see it!
