I expected Jupiter Ascending to fit suqarley between Guardians of the Galaxy and Chronicles of Riddick...and it did, and I'm satisfied. It's like a YA movie only without the love triangle and no angst spent on breaking through social hierarchies. Instead, ANTI GRAVITY SKATE BOOTS WEEEEE!
