Probably the worst Predator movie so far, but it was OK. Another victim of PG-13 wussification of a one badass franchise.

Predator Badlands is the first and only PG-13 predator movie, so the theme and tone of the movie is extremely different from the rest of the franchise. Known for its extreme actions and gory kills, as long as you know that it is PG-13 and is not an action horror film instead rather an action comedy. It succeeds in being an action comedy but just not what you expect from a predator movie.

The first Predator film that isn’t horror. A really good time.

BADLANDS has an engaging story with a clear and logical plot. Realistic and well developed characters with their own flaws and motivations, which helps the audience connect with them. The special effects were perfectly balanced and not over the top. With all that said, this is not your typical Predator movie, which was disappointing. This reminded me early Marvel films trying to throw in humor.
