A solid movie that through the trappings of animal horror explores the notion of family and what one will do for them. Albeit simply delivered, it has layering from the different families presented: the father and his daughters, the predator lion, the friendly pride of lions, and the poachers. The performances were grounded with believable fear and determination. Also, Idris Elba punches a lion.

It was a unique story that many people would not have experienced or even heard of before. Very thrilling and unexpected.

It a fun thriller, had me squirming and jumping in my seat!
