Due to its spatial constraints and dependance on dialogue, The Outfit felt more like a stage play than a film. Its visuals & sound design were cinematic, but narrative development was more theatrical.\r\rSome plot twists were interesting, but reviving the mobster we had left for dead comes too close to a genre cliché. By contrast, the shears were foreshadowed to an extent that we knew they would be used in the climax.\r\rThe cast was strong and acting good, although all characters are written to speak in a similar voice. This exacerbates the uniformity of pacing.\rOverall, a good experience.

The fact that they shot all the movie in one location was stellar and creative!! Also I’d give it a rewatch
