I was sad at first with the choices that needed to be made. \r\rAppreciate the family values. As well the traditions that were taught to carry on.\r\rLoved the game and good sportsmanship at the end.

Captivating. I believe Eddie Huang did an amazing job at capturing the essence of what it feels like to grow up as an Asian American in the inner city. We dealt with the name calling and the parental pressures of becoming something better than our parents. It’s very heart warming to see that this film has left an impression of multi cultural dating / relationships. As an Asian American (Filipino decent) we all shared the same values of tradition and morals within our own cultures. It’s transparent, relatable and on point. Salamat to this film!

Really well done, relevant to all ages but especially for young people, struggling with family issues, cultures clashes and internal issues, gender, race, and the best "coming of age story". So true, Holden is History, and even then only for some.\rThis film breaks barriers, high school and college students should see this film :)
