I thought it was a very enjoyable and fun movie. It didn't take itself too seriously. We got to skip the whole baby crashing to Earth and being raised to adulthood montage, which I appreciated. Nicholas Hoult was outstanding as Lex. Of course, Krypto was a scene stealer. I don't know enough about the Superman and DC universes to recognize all the easter eggs, but there were others in the theater who seemed to get excited about certain reveals or scenes. All in all, very fun movie.

Not a bad start for the new DCU

The new Superman is fun and full of heart. David Corenswet is great as Clark—sweet, hopeful, and easy to root for. The movie looks cool, has a light, positive vibe, and even features Krypto the dog. But it’s definitely not perfect—it does feel a bit crowded, with too many characters and not the clearest story. Some parts are kind of too cartoonish. Still, if you want a feel-good superhero movie and don’t mind a little chaos, you’ll probably enjoy it.

It was so refreshing to see THE most iconic superhero be so full of hope and joy again. James Gunn and the team clearly worked hard to restore Superman’s heart and humanity for audiences, and I hope we get to see his full vision pan out. Highly recommend, and I am so fortunate to have been included in this early screening.
