It was a good movie. The action was good and the jokes were funny, but I just wasn't expecting Venom to be such a sympathetic character. I don't know, I was kind of expecting him to be more of a bully or something. I'd go see it again, maybe I just need to see it again to fully appreciate it. I am excited to see if/how this plays into the Marvel Universe!

A fun and exciting action movie that had the entire theater on edge. An easy to follow plot admittedly takes the back seat in favor of the fast paced effects and well choreographed fight scenes. Tom hardy delivered an enjoyable and often times hilarious performance as Eddie Brock, especially whenever he interacted with venom. You can tell the movie was meant to be rated r, but it still does well as a more mature oriented pg-13 film. I'd definitely recommend seeing this one!
