This movie had such a unique aspect. Overall, it was the perfect combination of old and new.

I thought it was great. I did not read the book prior to watching the film so I did not know what to expect. My girlfriend and I loved all of the movie and video game references, as well as, the song choices for the soundtrack. It was a great story and the special effects were awesome.

Very fun movie with tons of nostalgia. The story was simple and felt like willy wonka and the chocolate factory which is a good thing.

clever, great throwback for gen Xers, but I'm not sure if they're going to go see this since marketing seems for a younger crowd who won't get the 80s references
