I think that the themes of this movie definitely hit a hard topic that makes the viewer feel what is best described as disturbed, but in a good way.

Part dark comedy, part searing portrait of how socially accepted sexism still destroys women's lives. \r\rThis film calls out the assholery of so-called nice guys and the so-called connection that's actually a supposed green light for sex. \r\rEven given the questionable things Carey Mulligan's Cassandra has done, her actions were done out of love for her dear friend Nina. But her final bit of revenge was utterly satisfying.
