It was very slow, the use of steady cam and extreme closeups was uncomfortable to watch, and it just wasn't interesting to me. The actors were all great, but the story just didn't hold my interest.

The slower pacing and unfolding of storyline matched the mood & tone - it was poignant but not maudlin or emotionally manipulative. The quiet strength of the actors was as beautiful as the landscape.

Wonderful job by statuesque Robin Wright in both acting & directing. As a Coloradan, great cinematography of the beauty & savage nature of the Rockies. Couldn't help but notice that although often short on food, she certainly had a pretty good wardrobe for a loner in the woods. Great storyline of 2 people looking for grace, forgiveness & the conflict of tragic uncertainty in life seeking redemptive purpose. Loved the movie; hope to watch it again. Thank you for the opportunity to watch this Focus Feature presentation. Hope you'll invite me again as this is a wonderful pandemic diversion. Joe C
