Enjoyed the movie. Liked the message of love being carried out. Appreciated the action scenes and the importance of building relationships. Well done.

Very slow moving.

It was a little slow. From the previews I expected a new perspective on the story of Christ, but it seemed like not much more than that

Joseph Fiennes portrayed an emotionally challenged portrait of a Roman fighter who relentlessly dismisses any notion of a Messiah in favor of current Roman laws and mythology. His misplaced belief that remaining a Roman warrior will indulge him to one day experience a day of no death is thwarted by the presence of the Messiah. This theme resonates because it teaches that regardless the level of doubt one has in the case of a risen Messiah, one can still participate in a miracle from the heart.
