seemed kind of cheesy and felt like it was dragged out for a long time. parts were funny, some scenes felt unnecessary or too long.

It was entertaining but is more suited to waiting for it on demand for free than paying the price of admission.

I found it hard to watch. The waves and the 3D made me dizzy. I felt like the plot was all over the place. It jumped from calm and quiet to chaos so fast. And I could never tell where the climax was. I thought it was 3 times before it actually happened. And there were lots of scenes that I felt were wasted space. They were not needed to fill in plot holes or even for comedic purposes.
