There was just something off about this movie. They were from primitive time but cared for family as if a modem family. It just did not seem right. I think if someone impressionable saw this ,without being taught about empathy they might think tying a dog's jaw closed,or killing animals is ok. I'm not vegetarian but ...I didn't like the way all the killing was portrayed. The dog deserves an Oscar though.I I hope if children see this they discuss with a loving adult. Slow at times. Just oktome

It was a tale that has been redone many times and it left me feeling like there needed to be something more to the story, very lack-luster

This movie couldn't decide what it wanted to be. Part of it seemed like it was trying to be like Dances with Wolves or The Revenant, with amazing scenery and gritty realism. But then suddenly there were these silly bits of CGI that were totally out of place and detracted from the movie.Also, many logic flaws, such as: After the opening scene, it says "One week earlier." But then it shows them making a journey that would be at least a month. And the sudden appearance of the moustache. Please!
