The MAURITANIAN did not disappoint. Jodie Foster delivered a compelling performance along with her costars. The film was packed with a range of emotions and events that kept me on the edge of my seat. It was a great depiction of events with unexpected outcomes . The depiction was real and heart wrenching. I would definitely recommend this film. This is a film that I would also watch again and I plan on purchasing the book!

Very good, eye-opening story

I really enjoyed the movie. The story was very interesting & it was well acted, especially Jodie Foster. It really made me think more about 9/11 and Guantanamo Bay. Thanks for the opportunity to see it!

Phenomenal portrayal of a sad truth of our country. The story of Mohamedou Slahi was something I barely remembered from the time, so getting to see this on the big screen was truly eye-opening. To see Slahi's resilience and his spirit, especially in the end credits, is beyond inspiring. This cast did an amazing job and brought the story to life - amazing job to Jodie, Tahar, Shailene and Benedict!
