Predictable story. Shallow melodramatic relationships. The actor playing the main character was obviously picked for his "handsome" looks rather than his acting skills, which were negligible. I like good Sci-Fi, but that is defined by a good story with credible characters.

First half was a jumble but the second half stablized and better.\rThe comedy done by actor Sam Richardson was really out of place as though he was acting like Chris Pratt's in his more comedic roles and should have been reshot.

An interesting concept, competent direction, and a fun performance from Sam Richardson can’t save this poorly paced blobfest. It’s fine enough if you have a few hours to kill, but not one to write home about.

The film reminds me of Edge of Tomorrow/\rWorld War Z.
