Fabulous historical bio-pic. The acting was extraordinary and the art direction was a treat for the eyes. I loved the retro tones, sets and camera shots. As a history buff I was pleasantly surprised.

What a great experience! This is the comfort food of film. Gary Oldman is stellar, as is the cinematography, screenwriting, and editing. Would recommend this to any lover of history or film!

Gary Oldman transformed himself HE WAS Winston Churchill. The cinematography played on the "dark"' theme. So many of the the scenes were dark creating the heaviness of the situation. LOVED IT. Wast totally captivated and (so sorry to say this out loud) LEARNED a great deal of history. (The movie moved me to check the facts). Thanks for the opportunity to screen this movie!
