An incredible story, well told.

I liked it a lot. Such a horrible, brutal time, but good to know there were people willing to risk their lives to save others. Was impressed it was a true story and 300 Jews were actually saved.Made me think of the plight of immigrants today and, and so many, including leaders, that want to ban them, but hopefully the majority will be compassionate and welcome them.

Wow! I was born in 1941 in the midst of all this but too young to remember. My heart goes out to all involved. Privileged to be born in USA. The acting was superb, the animals were wonderful. Couldn't watch the animals being destroyed but knew it was happening. My son was with me and it gave us lots to talk about on the way home. I hope it does well at the box office. I think Jessica Chastain could be up for an Oscar. Thank you.

I absolutely loved this movie. I think this movie should get the Best Picture Oscar and the Best Actress Oscar. I especially liked the opening of the movie. I liked when the movie opened at the very, very beginning where the little boy was asleep in bed with the gorgeous lion cubs. I also liked the beginning where Jessica Chastain walked around the zoo and said hello to all of the animals. This movie made me learn more about how extremely evil and terrible the Nazis were. I love Jessica Chastain and I love animals. This was a two kleenex box movie, however, but I loved it all the same.
