Entertaining yet unusual film. Phoenix somehow is the best actor to handle uncomfortable and awkward scenes

Ummm... *confused face*?!?! Where to begin. First they smoked so much weed I think I was high off of contact lol. Secondly it was funny yet confusing/brain numbing. A bit conspiracy theorist & paranoia meets sleuth type movie. Phoenix & Brolin carried the movie and were very convincing, their scenes together made the movie tolerable. If this was the 60s, then I didn't miss much lol.

Beautifully acted, refreshingly slow, and nicely complicated plot. It requires more of your attention then the average movie but will be rewarded with a good movie experience.

While there were frequent laugh out loud moments I think a lot of people would have trouble following the story line. Having said that, Pynchon is not easy to read and I dont there could have been a better job done putting it on screen. An excellent cast with actors I hadn't expected to see, who all did a great job. It looked like it must have been a fun movie to work on.
