I enjoyed the film. It had an interesting mix of quirky, weird, and cheesy. Being a 70's baby, the time frame and references were fun. I think some of the characters could've stood to be fleshed out somewhat more. But the 2 main ones personalities were well defined and I guess that's the point. Both actresses, playing Abby and Gretchen, were quite good at their roles and I felt immersed in their acting. The horror was decent, nothing I couldn't telegraph easily, but still okay. The end was a bit far fetched, but again I guess that was the point.

Horror/Comedy Movie, love the 80's look. \rIf you love the book you will definitely love the movie. I laugh in a few parts but was not feeling like the whole comedy part of it. But I would recommend you to see it you will enjoy it trust me.
