The Big Short is an excellent movie. I went with a friend who used to work in financial services and knew the actual story. He said the movie is extremely accurate. I can say it has a good pace, excellent character development and a good overall story. The main actors ALL give excellent performances which is in itself a rarity for such a large cast with diverse roles. The is a lot of humor too.

I really enjoyed the film although it hit a little too glee to home-not just for me but from the groans in the theater many others as well. The performances were unique and casting choices were interesting. To see "Batman" Chtistian Bale) and "Mr Smith" (Brad Pittt) play off beat roles were intertwining but Steve going from comedy to this very serious role showed his depth in acting.

fantastically accurate portrayal of the housing bubble

gave the facts of the housing disaster and explained in lay men's terms. Sad thing is it reminded us that no one went to jail. So we have to vote in the proper politicians if such a thing is possible.
