The 3-D effects are beautiful and the plot is about what you would expect, having seen the first one. However, this one blatantly rips off other movies, (Star Wars), and is too long. The ending doesn't make much sense.

I really appreciate the free screener passes! The comic-book kid in me loves getting the first look at spectacles like this. Having written that, this script wasn't very good. The story seemed all over the place, and even a super-talented director like Wan can't save a bad story.

Too much exposition. The movie felt like it was a lot but required people to watch the first one and didn’t develop characters well enough. The cast was great but didn’t get a good script to develop their characters. Also what’s the motivations of the bad guys henchmen? Why were they on board with killing the planet?

I ACTUALLY NEVER GOT A CHANCE TO WATCH IT BECAUSE THEY MADE ME AND MY 10 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER SIT IN THE FRONT ROW ON THE LAST TWO SEATS ON THE AISLE. IT WAS EXTREMELY PAINFUL TO HAVE OUR NECKS CROOKED SIDEWAYS AND HURT OUR EYES STRAINING TO THE POINT I RECIEVED A EXCRUCIATING HEADACHE AND MY DAUGHTER THREW UP. SO WE LEFT BECAUSE IT WAS TOO MUCH. THE STAFF WERE RUDE. THE AUDIENCE WAS INCONSIDERATE. AND THE PRESS AND PROMOTING TEAM WERE ASSHOLES. THEY ALL TREATED ME AND MY DAUGHTER LIKE SHIT AND I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THAT THEATER AGAIN. #WORSTMOVIETHEATERINTHEWORLD
