The moving was very enjoyable and although I thought it would be funny, I had no idea just how funny. The cast was thoughtfully chosen and delightful. I would recommend this movie to both men and women, and all ages. My husband went with me as did my 20 year old daughter and her friend and we all laughed so much. Truly wonderful movie!

Funny, excellent overall

Loved Book Club! This is the Bad Moms of the older generation.They proved that you can have a female driven comedy that makes an audience roar with laughter, without having to raunch it up. Like Sex and the City, each of the 4 characters represented a piece of us all.Book Club was everything you want in a girls night comedy. Go see it...and don't be afraid to take your Mom!
