I feel like it missed what it was going for. It was trying to be silly but would switch back to serious at weird times. The dialog was too cheesy. It felt like it wanted to be Snakes On A Plane but fell short of it's goal.

It's silly, extremely predictable, and often TOO close to Jaws, but still mildly entertaining. I have to admit, my biggest disappointment was that they never had the Megalodon jump out of the water to grab a helicopter.

For a "action/comedy/thriller/horror?" I'd expect more character and/or story growth to balance out the general lack of substance due to its pg13 rating. That or better action. It was a good idea that wasn't executed well. I'm glad I had the opportunity to see it for free.

Exactly what you'd expect! Ridiculous, entertaining, horrible acting, and lots of sharks!
