It's funny and heartfelt, yet sad. You really connect with the characters along the journey. There is a great synergy between the cast members.

Awkward, funny, cute, with a positive message. You’ll laugh out loud one minute and relate the next. Witty and geniune. Everyone can find something they love about this movie. Love, Simon is inspiring and encouraging. Definitely a movie to see!

I have not read the book so I'm unsure of how well the movie went along with the book. However, my only wish is that it would've taken a slightly more realistic stance when it came to parental reactions to these types of situations. Otherwise I think the movie did a decent job at showing a small amount of the difficulties teens face when dealing with a lifestyle that didn't fit societal "norms."

The storyline was a bit common, not really unique. But overall the movie was touching and had a great ending.
