Tomb Raider was entertaining.The Good: Alicia Vikander as a young, brash, and inexperienced Lara Croft. You can never go wrong casting Walton Goggins as your villain. The action scenes and stunts were enjoyable and it looked good. The Bad: The story was a predictable, by-the-number, cliche fest.

The aim of the movie was trying to make it relatable to millenial for the beginning of the film, but those experience was not relevant for the rest of the film experience. There was too much focus on CGI effects.

It was an enjoyable popcorn flick. Knowing it's based on a series of video games, the believability of the action was easily suspended. The weak plot points were also easily overlooked.This was a fun, chill movie to watch. A great flick to relax to and not have to think too hard for or spend a lot of time over anaylzing post-credits.Definitely recommend it to anyone wanting to just relax.
