Can't rate because the first 5 minutes were so discouraging, due to difficulty understanding the dialog and my disinterest in sports, that I decided it wasn't a film I wanted to spend two hours with.

I’ve seen better acting from high school productions. The extreme closeups were unnecessary. The progression of the relationship between Boogie and his girlfriend was not thoroughly explained as in one scene they were fighting in class and they next they were kissing.
