Solid scares and some good performances, but was a little long with a few odd moments

The actors' performances were wonderful. I really liked all the interactions with Pennywise and the fact he was on screen often and not just something abstract. The pace of the movie was really slow and it dragged. There were some moments that should have delivered a scare but missed. Also, the monsters seemed very modern and yet the film takes place in the 1980's so it didn't seem to fit.

The movie was great as a whole. Makes me wanna go back and watch the original film. It was a tad long for a horror film but over all great scares and great acting. Give it a good 8/10

How many books or movies can be written where a figure such as a clown feeds on your fear? We need some new storylines people ! The first half hour of the movie was very slow and I started to walk out and I've never done that at the movies.
