Good movie. Great story. I found the main character very likeable. The movie had a great pace to it. The 2 hours went by fast. Some of the shots were awesome. The only thing that felt bad is that the movie was too much by the basics of other Hollywood war movies, man falls in love go to war, struggle. But overall good movie.

This is a triumphant return for Mel Gibson as a director. While the film is based on a true story, and a story involving a miracle, you can't help but feel the humanity in it. The film is well cast, acted, shot and directed. I highly recommend this film to anyone who loves film and the war epic in general. You will see a man wrestle with his convictions and the outcome of these choices.

While I thought that it could have been shorter overall the film was powerful and well filmed. The actors were believable and the story inspiring
