I was captivated by the cinematography, the characters, the actors, and the locations. Flashbacks to the characters' youth and young adulthood provided needed background to current events and amplified the story with bitter sweet memories. Once again opportunities for redemption are thrown away and betrayal flourishes. Trainspotting 3 has to be in the works. I, for one, will be there to see how the four boyhood companions cope with the new circumstances of their middle age.

Movie was great, cinematography was amazing, acting was superb. The biggest problem with the movie that i had was the use of spud's stories to attempt to misled the audience to a false conclusion.

It was good and reminded me a lot of the first one.
