it is not your regular horror movie. it is not your regular kidnapping and surviving movie.\r\rthis movie contains both comical relief and suspense at the right times. it keeps you guessing as to what will happen next. yes some parts you may guess but the actors did an amazing job at keeping everyone entertained.

Just when you think you know what's going to happen, it takes a turn. The story line is consistent and doesn't leave any open holes. HIGHLY recommended, couldn't take my eyes off the screen, literally sat with my heart trying to beat out of my chest for 90% of the movie.

It was a very entertaining film from start to finish. Reminded me of nightmare on elm street somewhat. Would definitely recommend!!

After having to wait another 4 months to watch this I wasn't disappointed at all. This is Derrickson's best film, I've seen a decent amount of his filmography & this feels like what he was building towards. The cast is great, and I think we have to new child actors to keep our eyes on, Mason Thames and Madeline McGraw who serve as this film's anchors.
