Good directing, great screenplay. A wonderful adaptation of a beautiful show.

As someone that has loved the stage musical for many years, I was at first hesitant of its screen adaptation. However my fears were unfounded upon realizing the people behind the film obviously adored the story and music as much as its fans. I cried, I danced, I sang along to the songs I knew by heart, and the story spoke to my heart like I knew it would!
