Sort of predictable, but pure entertainment. I enjoy the film.

Less shocking but more stylish than its predecessor, The Strangers: Prey at Night starts a bit slow, but the slick set-pieces of the final act are a great ride. Nothing genre-redefining here, but it's a cut above most commercial horror films (such as the Sinister or Ouija franchises). A solid stalk-and-kill horror movie that's a good choice for a weekend matinee.
