It was enjoyable, the action was good, visuals were good but some of the storyline was silly. I would have enjoyed it more if the time travel paradoxes were dealt with, and if things didn't just fall into place so perfectly.

It started off kind of slow. I did really get into it once it's obvious that he is meeting his adult daughter. Overall the plot was pretty good, the acting and characters were done well, and the action was interesting. I would definitely suggest it to someone else. However, I'm not sure it's a movie I would want to or need to watch more than once.

A movie premise that we've seen many times before so it's hard to give this movie high marks. That said, Chris Pratt is very likeable & is cast well as the smart, courageous, funny lead. The humor was nicely done; in the right moments, subtle without distracting from the serious tone of the plot. SFX were great; believable, seamless & effective for bridging past and future worlds together. This is a summer blockbuster so it's plot aims high & moves along ridiculously fast in setting up "the world will be saved by a total of 3 people against insane odds & an overwhelming, superior alien race".

Mixed. Good acting and excellent special effects. A fair amount of both humor and horror. Fans of time travel movies should come to this with low expectations. (There are several places where they could have taken a different approach to the core problem(s) and solved them easily.)
