The movie was what I expected. Lots of action, and added humour which made the movie more fun to watch.I thought the idea of a prehistoric shark was a good concept.

There were funny parts; however, it felt longer than it needed to be.

Overall it was an okay movie for its genre but a lot of the plot was predictable. I wish there was more scenes with the shark in it. It should have been named The Megaladon opposed to just the Meg. I knew it was gonna be about a giant prehistoric shark but most people won’t be familiar. Also it was far fetched that he could outswim that shark even being pulled by a boat.
