I didn't like the ending but loved the overall message.

I enjoyed this funny and sometimes serious film. Amy Schumer made a surprise entrance and I am glad real models were cast.

I Feel Pretty: Amy Schumer tackles body image and self confidence in this romantic comedy about a regular gal at a cosmetics company who, after a head injury during spin class, is convinced she’s beautiful, and starts living her life with a newfound sense of confidence. The plot is fun and pretty predictable and the jokes, some of which do elicit big belly laughs, are standard Schumer. What IS surprising, however, is how hilarious and on point Michelle Williams is as the baby doll-voiced cosmetics executive - truly hysterical. The screenwriting duo of Abby Kohn and Marc Silverstein (How to Be Single, He’s Just Not That Into You) wrap their directorial debut with a nice bow - that self-confidence is very beautiful... and even sexy. Clever dialogue; well acted and directed with characters playing to type and I was pleasantly surprised that the crude humor often displayed in Amy Schumer’s films was limited. The film is well cast with the actors delivering on their characters. We laughed out loud throughout the entirety of the film, and appreciated the emotional moments experienced by the characters. The Writers and Director nailed it!
