Love, Simon was a surprisingly great movie. Lots of heart, but lots of humor too. Fell victim to some of the same cliches and tropes of similar movies, but it never really hurt the viewing experience

Topic was spot on. Casting was inconsistant. Esp. The teaching staff for the high school. Assistant principal part was cringeworthy. Drama teacher's lines were too far out there. I'm a retired teacher, btw.

Very sweet and endearing movie.

The movie was very touching. It really makes you think about how hard it must be for the LBGT community. It put a fun and playful twist on a subject that can often be sad and scary.
