An amazing ride of pop culture and nostalgia! The book is still better though.

While not following the book directly, the movie was a fun and well written visual representation. The depth and substance to characters was lacking but that was well made up by Spielberg’s polish and style.

Great action, fun pace that for movie goers that haven't read the book or know any back story about the characters can enjoy this movie.

I like the nostalgic references to past films and games. The film's action sequences were good, but parts of the story were too rushed like the relationship between Wade and Sam.
