Not a 5* review for our driver & cop buddy pair, but more of a 3.5* rating. The action comes fast & furious, and the laughs generally land, but the crux of the film is the chemistry between our grizzled, hard as nails cop, and our hapless & helpless romantic Uber driver, and both Bautista & Nanjiani deliver. Indonesian silat action star Iko Uwais as the villain is disappointingly underused though.

It was very funny and full of great one liners. The story was compelling and the acting believable for the most part. It was a fun night out.

Fun lighthearted, funny enough to make you laugh out loud.

Pleasantly surprised. Impressed with the fighting choreography, all the way from the bad guy played by Iko Uwais ("The Raid") to the sporting goods store sequence. Who knew that an Uber driver could hold his own against "Dax"? Funny movie.
