A completely refreshing take on the romantic comedy genre. Nanjiani and Kazan are powerful screen presences and are both dripping with charisma and chemistry. Romano and Hunter both are in peak form, and Kurt Braunohler steals every scene he's in. Gordon and Nanjiani's incredibly funny and sincere script shines brightest of all the elements at work. Easily my favorite film of 2017 so far.

Laughing with this movie is uncomfortable. Worth it! Approaching racism and illness as comedy topics is quite the task, but Kumail Nanjiani succeeds. Holly Hunter is a scene stealer as the OCD mom.

Such a well written and brilliantly performed comedy that shows the real moments of a true love story. Hilarious, emotional, and thought-provoking, this is a must see movie!
