An effective indictment of British colonialism and its dehumanizing effects it had on both its perpetrators and its victims. I recommended it on my Facebook page yesterday. Some friends are seeing it this weekend.

Very well done. Judi Dench did a magnificent job, NO surprise there. Ali Fazel was excellent in the role of Abdul. They both made history come to life. It's amazing that prejudice and jealousy still exist for the same reasons as 100+ years ago. The "more things change, the more they stay the same" Thank you for the opportunity to see this film.
