It missed the boat. It was but not strange enough.... It needed more editing.

I thought the film was overall engaging and fascinating in the sense that it felt like it was te 70's and that vibe drew you in but from the first scene I felt it wasn't going to be as epic as the master or there will be blood but it did pan out in the end although in the middle it got pretty slow .

Had some x-rated parts. Not suitable for uner 21 years. Also had some funny parts which were ok.

Acting was good, plot was drugged up confusing for logical folks that aren't familiar with the novel. Best I can say for the overall movie and plot line is that it interesting, at times too long and drawn out. Guess I'm not a fan of Thomas Pynchon novels, Anderson made it quirky entertaining enough to bare sitting through the 2.5 hours...
