Very much slapstick humor that doesn’t land well most of the time. The plot felt derivative and seemed to try to be self aware in order to make up for its lack of individuality.

I was able to identify quickly (and excitedly!) That is was a remake of Blazing Saddles. I was shocked at, with that at its source work:\r\r1. How unfunny it was (relative to blazing saddles(.\r\r2. How it completely failed to build on the set up for positive social commentary in the early parts. You could tell they were afraid to go anywhere near it, even though opportunity was ripe.\r
