I thought the writing and direction was an interesting departure for Noah Baumbach. It took awhile to get going but I enjoyed it once the posse arrived in Connecticut. Those were the most memorable scenes. Overall, the film was good but not extraordinary. I liked Frances Ha better.

No real aim but it's a good laugh & relates to most people in the US. Money woes, betrayal, heart ache, & mixed emotions.

It was a little too precious and self-aware. Many of the scenes felt too staged and HS/College amateur-play production quality. And, the characters, especially Brooke was a definite trope of the flighty, modern-woman gal who is just talk and tiresome in her self-importance. It was not entertaining to watch her flounder around. The illusion she was great should have been more drawn out.

Difficult to hear dialogue at times - sound quality.
