Enjoyable. I was put off by the ending-kid was almost dead in the ocean, but somehow, just going up into space, he is better, and so much better, he can withstand a rocket launch and trip to Mars. And what about that Air Firce guy, who just lets some one else take the plane into space, after saying he couldn't allow the plane to go any higher? Appears writers didn't know how to end the movie and just threw something together for the last 10 minutes. Despite this ending, I still enjoyed the movie.

The cast was great! There were some problems with continuity during the scene where the girl stole the airplane. The terrain kept changing! The film was enjoyable if a bit sappy!

Slow at the beginning, but then picked up. A cute story for teens and pre-teens. My two granddaughters loved it.

an okay movie that was nothing like what I expected. It was more of a love story and not about a "true" person born on Mars wanted and experieanceing life on earth. Chick Flic
