there's a reason this film won so many Sundance awards - such a well-written film with some terrific performances and a heartfelt tone - I'm so glad I watched this. I wish this film big ratings on Apple+ - it deserves it

The subject matter is long overdue. Casting of the family and the different tensions and dynamics that arise within their unit feel natural and authentic. The attention given to the innerworkings of the struggling fishing industry melds with the plot while remaining relevant to the current state of affairs that exist outside of the film. Mr. V isn't forced into the picture allowing Ruby to shine.

I loved this movie! The family was honest and caring. I liked the fact that Leo had a lot of feelings and some anger but yet was a supportive big brother! Ruby was awesome all around! I love Jackie ... she was great, too! Great cast!!\r\rThank you for the opportunity to view this at home!

Excellent movie; well written story and great actors.
