It looks and feels like someone made a really good YouTube video, and they decided it would be best to change it into a Full-Length Feature that is the opposite of the good looks that said YT Video probably had beforehand.

Slow, boring, miscast

not a good movie. Everything from acting, dialogue to the camera angles was awkward and weird and I just did not buy into the story or characters at all. It was very disappointing . . I love basketball and love a good success story aka Rocky but this had none of that . . .

The basketball scenes weren't very good. The acting was mediocre. The characters were almost uniformly unlikeable. The story wasn't very original. The cultural issues involving the Chinese in the U.S. could have been handled better.
