I thought it was an excellent action/adventure movie. From the time she jumped ship, it was a roller coaster of an emotional and punishing ride. The movie captured the essence of the video game franchise, and I hope it continues to do so in the sequels. This has been the best video game adaptation so far.

Entertaining kinda slow but a good watch

This movie was action packed and full of heart. The protagonist was likeable, tough, smart and beautiful. I like the fact that she was realistic and actually got hurt. It made her triumph even more satisfying. It was really fun to see game references and locations in the movie. The film was a true treat for any Tomb Raider fan. The movie set itself up for a sequel that I cannot wait for.
